Welcome!
In 2016 the Town of Hyde Park registered with the National Wildlife Federation to become a Certified Community Wildlife Habitat. The town committed to focus on pollinator and native plant choices, to conserve wildlife, and to work with community organizations involved with beautification, community gardening, landscape archaeology, and horticultural education.
Hyde Park Garden Habitat is the group of volunteers who support community members seeking to certify individual properties (homes, parks, schools, businesses, and others) as Certified Wildlife Habitats, and provide education and outreach in the community. To date, Hyde Park has more than one hundred certified habitats!
